The IcyLFS software is our attempt at the simplest possible way to make Linux easy for everyone. That means that it’s only 9.2 MB in size, contains no fat, and can be fully installed in under two minutes on most modern systems… if you’re used to installing Linux this will seem like nothing to you. If you haven’t done it before then just double check that your system has a CD-ROM drive and is capable of booting from the disc you’re about to install on, create a bootable disc using whatever method your system requires (usually burning to CD), and reboot!
